Good Little Devils is a complete creative project born in 2018 with the creation of three main characters and the first development of a narrative idea. Over the years I made changes to both the characters and the concept, working on it in alternating phases due to my professional commitments.
In 2022 I ideated the small characters and created the NFT collection. This year (2025) I actively resumed the project: I defined the characters with their distinctive traits, built the complete narrative universe and refined the overall concept. After launching the NFT collection, I continued to develop the stories within the narrative universe, accompanying them with illustrated vignettes.
Narrative Universe
It all starts in Hell, where an ambitious scientist builds a machine to create an army of evil little devil soldiers and dethrone the Chief Devil. But the machine produces three little devils who, instead of being evil, turn out to be good: Kai (empathetic), Ken (super intelligent), and Kou (action-oriented).
Disappointed by the result, the scientist decides to create others. The three, not wanting other evil little devils to be created, start sabotaging the machine. The plan goes wrong: the machine starts producing good little ones incessantly and breaks down completely in the chaos. The energy from the broken machine creates a dimensional rift that sucks all the little devils to Earth.
Now they live hidden in a tree village in a forest, organized into six specialized groups: the Wizards, the Crafters, the Fashionistas, the Athletes, the Artists, and the Foodies.
They will meet Alex, a teenage boy who will become their first human friend. Together they find themselves helping people in trouble, even though every attempt to help turns into disasters. The Good Little Devils demonstrate a fundamental truth: things are always less scary than they seem.
Project Evolution
The Good Little Devils NFT were created three years ago with Illustrator, but I had cataloging difficulties. This year I resumed the project thanks to AI: with help from a friend who knows a bit about coding, I used Claude to generate Python code on Google Colab, leveraging GPT-Vision for colors and Gemini for accessories.
Being a professional illustrator, I use AI as support but prefer drawing directly what I want. I tested Recraft for vectors (powerful but not easy to modify for my style) and Flux to reinterpret characters, though I redraw everything in vector. I experimented with many AIs thanks to NightCafe.
NFT Collection
Good Little Devils is an NFT collection of 4,000 unique characters, completely hand-drawn in Adobe Illustrator, with potential for future expansion. Each little devil combining 8 different body tones, 8 horn color variations, 14 unique gradient backgrounds and 67 total unique accessories.
From the professional artistic quality of vector illustration to infinite trait combinations, each Good Little Devil is a unique piece that tells its own story through vibrant colors, character expressions, and distinctive accessories that reflect special personalities and abilities.
